tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2098377761995034171.post3665529079166178961..comments2023-11-03T09:15:22.062+00:00Comments on Not Even a Bag of Sugar: Charlie's StoryKykareehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00316100979546486127noreply@blogger.comBlogger1125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2098377761995034171.post-51542514913369432702011-11-17T12:35:09.016+00:002011-11-17T12:35:09.016+00:00Charlies story is so similar to my little Oliver&#...Charlies story is so similar to my little Oliver's experience he was born at 31 weeks weighing 3lb's 5oz via c-section due to pre-eclampsia, he was ventilated, and on CAP for a few days, and had to have a chest drain around 2 days old.<br />He was in NNU for 4 weeks and was then allowed home :-)<br />At 3 months old he caught meningitus and had a UTI and was on anti-biotics for 10 days, at 4 months he was back in the hospital having another lumber puncture luckily it was not meningitus again only another UTI again nurses came out twice a day to administer anti-biotics via IV.<br />Now he is just over 6 months old and weighs 15lb's 11oz and is perfect, He remains on anti-biotics due to UTI as he has a wee reflux. I am currently introducing him to solids.<br />Everyday i am reminded at the long jouney he has been through and how well he has done, They truly are little miracles xSmiler1986noreply@blogger.com
