I never hit back (to be fair I punch like a sissy) but I used my mouth. Externally I looked like I was coping I was the sassy one, they could hit me and I would use words to look smart. Inside I was scared stupid. I left my home town the moment I got my a levels, first to the US then to college as far away as possible. I never went home. Bullies still live there, one apologised once for being a bitch, she apparently got beaten at home she was scared and took it out the only way she knew. I think bullying formulates a part of life and yes it shapes us for who we are. I don't condone my bullies behaviour but they were still only children, I won't accept it from my kids and hope to raise them to be kind.

Oh I went on a bit there!

J xAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2098377761995034171.post-15147940342997230792010-12-07T22:13:06.065+00:002010-12-07T22:13:06.065+00:00Oh Kylie. I wish I could whizz back in time and dump powder paint over them!

I'm glad that you feel that good things stemmed for all those painful experiences. I wonder if those who did the bullying can play a muscial instrument or have read and enjoyed half the number of books?

But it just shouldn't have happened. I wish that no child was bullied and made to feel scared and worthless.Catherine Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01618295389400457254noreply@blogger.com
